HUTTO ADOPT-A-SPOT
* This page is under construction, being updated. Thank you for your patience.*
Hutto Adopt-A-Spot provides organizations and citizens with a means to help keep the Hutto Community a clean and beautiful place to live, work, and play. This program encourages citizen participation in beautification projects and litter clean-ups of designated public areas at regular intervals. Hutto Adopt-A-Spot is a partnership between Keep Hutto Beautiful Foundation and the City of Hutto.
“The Leo Club adopted the area surrounding Hutto High School, and I have enjoyed seeing how excited the students are to help keep their high school clean. I have witnessed them not only clean during our scheduled times, but they have begun picking up trash on their way to and from school every day.
This is also translating inside the building as well. I have seen their pride in their school grow, and now they are taking it upon themselves to pick up trash they see in the hallways. It has meant a lot to me to be able to show these teenagers, who often don’t understand the importance of appearances, begin to notice how much nicer their school looks with just a little effort.”
